Welcome everybody.

Great to see you all.

Um I think we will start because we're on the air room that we may have some folks who were joining us in a few minutes, including our council president.

Um great.

Thank you to the viewers at home that were tuning in.

I will start with the distinguished gentleman to my right to introductions.

Mayor Paul Cashman, South Denver, District Six.

Denver's lucky district seven.

Amanda Sawyer, District Five.

Daryl Watson, the five nine.

Chris Hines, Denver's perfect ten.

I am maybe the first time it's ever happened.

Um great.

All right.

Well, we are going to start with a couple of announcements uh this morning to begin, and then we will uh we do have an executive session scheduled for today after that.

But I will start with announcements if any of the members have announcements you'd like to make for fellow members or for the listening public at home.

I'll do a quick one.

Councilman Sorry.

Just want to remind people get out there and vote.

Doesn't matter who you were voting for, how you were voting, that is your business, but you must get out there and vote.

It is so important in this election.

Thank you so much, Councilwoman.

And we do know that this is a longer ballot than most, so it is more work to get through than your normal voting obligation, but it is all worth it.

And so thank you for taking the time to do that.

Um there announcements.

I was going to same thing.

I stole your thunder PK.

I would just advise our voters if they haven't yet, when you uh remove your ballot from your mailbox, lift with your legs kind of back out.

Uh uh well said, Councilman Cashman.

Uh are there any other announcements that folks have?

Um great.

I think probably everybody knows uh the you can still mail in your ballot, um, but I think the last day is Thursday.

Is that correct?

It was yesterday.

Yes.

As I said, do not mail it anymore.

Um I always drop mine off, so uh our voter service centers are great.

They're drop-offs anywhere in your neighborhood.

You can come on to Denvergov.org and find a drop-off spot, but you can drop them up until 7 o'clock Tuesday night, next Tuesday, so you got a full week still to uh ponder, think about it, and do some reading.

Um great.

And yes, Councilman Hines.

Well, and to that point, um you can still register to vote as well.

So if you recently moved, um, you know, inside Denver inside Colorado from uh state, you can still register to vote even the day of.

Um you have to do it in person.

Um, and then you can register to vote and vote day off.

That is a very important reminder.

Uh any other announcements?

Madam President, anything you want folks to know on announcements or updates this morning?

I do.

So this Friday at La Rasa Park, um, we have one of the oldest Dia de los Muertos celebrations in Denver.

Um, so we start at a Troy Travis Garden, and Trey Travis Memorial Garden was a friend of mine who got shot down in front of Chubby's in the 90s during the summer of violence.

And so we have a memorial garden for him on 39th and Shoshone.

And then we go to La Rasa Park, and there will be um ofrendas.
