Um we did a dry run rehearsal of what we wanted to share with you without the audio working, so we're now going to come back and share those things with you again.

Uh and we think they'll be very informative.

There will be even better practice.

So I think we can skip the introductions.

But I would like to welcome anyone has announcements they would like to share.

Just a reminder for everyone, our annual District Five community open houses tonight.

Um it's a George Washington High School, 5 30 p.m.

to 7 p.m.

An opportunity for residents to stop in, um, connect with city agencies, have conversations, ask questions.

Um, and so please join us.

It's in the George Washington High School Um library, which is on the second floor, 5 30 p.m.

It is going to snow, it is going to be bad weather.

Um, so I'm making this announcement on behalf of Councilwoman Gilmore and Councilwoman Parody.

Uh, we three have joined forces and are um helping to host the District 11 town hall, it's the 10th annual town hall.

It will be this Thursday, February 13th from 5 30 to 7 30 at the Eve Garriott campus in Green Valley Ridge.

Councilman Cashman, would you like to have another announcement about the audio not working or do you want to skip that or something?

We are doing a survey for District Four residents um in Southeast Denver and it is we sent it out.

It's a little bit different.

We're doing it by phone.

People will receive the survey by text.

We started sending out batches yesterday.

So if you have not yet received it, contact our office.

We will send it to you by email.

Um we will also have hard copies available if some people would like to do a paper survey.

Um but when you get it, it is not spam.

Uh and it gives you an opportunity to give feedback about all things Southeast Denver and the city.

It'll be a great opportunity for community to come together to learn about all the great departments throughout the city and how we support our communities as well as to hear from the mayor and myself um on um the things that we're leading and collaborating and co-creating with community.

So February 21st, 5 30 to 7 p.m.

Off street parking, lots of food, games, and um good time.

So please come on out and join us in thank you, Trent Willis, we're coordinating uh this entire event.

Uh great.

We have just one topic on the general public session, then we do have a couple items on executive session.

Uh one thing we wanted to update uh council on, and of course, viewing audience.

If you are a Nuggets or an AFS fan, you already know this.

Um but we are excited that after what has been a six-year lockout between Cronki and Comcast, where people could not view nuggets or ads games uh in their home market.

Uh, we were excited last week to announce an agreement uh that now puts the nuggets and the ads back on every TV in Denver every single night.

Um not said it's related to just to say the nuggets have won seven games straight since then.

So all in all, more Denver's walking watching turns out to be a better outcome for the city.
