I want to invite everyone to define District 9 for the kickoff of the Western Stock Show.

It begins this Thursday, one of the best events, the parade that comes down towards downtown on 17th and goes through to 26th.

I think one of the great things about the Stock Show that I love, and I know many of the council members around the table love,

isn't just all of the fun activities that happens at National Western,

but it's the investment into community.

Over $300,000 of scholarships to young people in Globeville, Elyria, Swansea,

across the city for folks who are interested in careers in agriculture.

So come on down, spend your money, help us to invest in scholarships,

And in support of the National Western, we are having our own District 7 kick-off to the National Western.

It will be Thursday at 530 at Desert Social on South Broadway, and we will be giving away tickets, have food, music, dancing, all the fun things, and a real-life course that people can get on and take some books.
