The weekly joint meeting of the Denver Mayor and City Council on October 20, 2026, consisted of council member announcements about upcoming district events, followed by a transition into closed session to discuss pending labor negotiations with city agencies. Announced the October 24th Halloween bar crawl along Broadway, a police district three Halloween carnival on Sunday at 1 p.m., and an Athmar Park Neighborhood Association treat giveaway at 4 p.m. at Houston Lake Park.
  • Councilwoman Diana Romero Campbell: Announced a park improvements completion celebration at Southmore Park tomorrow at 4 p.m.; the opening of Bethesda Park on Thursday, October 22nd at 4 p.m. (described as the first park purchased with Denver Park Trust dollars, located in North University Hills); a fall fest at Thomas Jefferson High School Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a paint drop-off fundraiser by TJPTO; and a bike ride starting at 10 p.m. at Bybill Park.
  • Councilman Darrell Watson: Noted continuation of the triangle scenarios workshop tonight from 5 to 8 p.m. at 5004 National Western Drive; a Welton Street small business discussion with Mayor Johnston tomorrow at Spangalang from 5:30 to 7 p.m.; and the final Denver Oktoberfest weekend at the National Western Center, which he identified as October 22nd and 25th, noting an apparent discrepancy because October 22nd was earlier identified as Thursday, so the event likely falls on October 24th and 25th.
