The Eagan Advisory Planning Commission met on August 26, 2025, at 6:30 PM in the Eagan Municipal Center. The commission considered two interim use permit (IUP) renewal requests and conducted routine business. All votes were unanimous, with 7 members present.

At this time I'd like to ask that we stand and say a pledge allegiance to the flag. I pledge allegiance to the flags of America and to the Republic for which it stands under God with liberty. Mr. Schultz, um are there any changes to or amendments or updates to tonight's agenda? Uh Mr. Schwanke, uh no, there are no changes to the agenda. Seeing none, uh that there are no changes, is there a motion to prove the agenda is presented? So moved. Seconded. Um those in favor. Seeing no opposition, we'll uh announce that that uh vote is unanimous. How many do we have here tonight? We have seven, right? Two, four, six, seven. Seven zero, Mr. Schultz. Thank you. Um regarding the minutes, uh adoption of the June twenty twenty-four excuse me, June twenty-fourth, twenty twenty-five minutes. Members are there any edits or corrections, changes to the minutes that have been presented to you. None? Seeing none. Second, is there a second? And all those in favor, please say aye. All those opposed. That again is approved on a seven to zero. I'm abstaining. I was not there. Thank you, Mr. Wayne. Turner wasn't here either. And member Wagner. So that'd be two abstentions. Um it's at this time that we uh open the floor to those who may be in the audience who'd like to make a comment regarding any item that is not on the agenda. Um, which is regarding a interim use permit for the uh River Valley Church located at eight seventy-five Blue Genshin Road. Um the applicant is seeking approval of an interim use permit to allow church in a BP business park district for a five-year term. Mr. Ellis, who I don't believe I've seen her tonight here, uh, or Ms. Doziak are gonna be making the presentation. That is me. Thank you, Mr. Chair, members of the commission. Uh, this request is by River Valley Church to allow a church in a business park zoning district. The property is located at 875 Blue Genshin Road. And the proposed term for the interim use is five years.
