0:05

Evening everybody and welcome to the Adina City Council meeting.

0:08

It is Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026.

0:12

Fabulous day in Minnesota, and don't forget about the Adina Art Fair coming up this weekend.

0:17

Make sure that you have a chance to try to get down there with friends and family.

0:22

Before we call the meeting to order, I just want to reemphasize what Director Benrot said is that we're handling these meetings in a hybrid sort of fashion.

0:30

We have been all during COVID and since COVID.

0:33

And post-pandemic we handle these meetings in a way where she said we'll take testimony in the uh chambers first from folks that wish to appear before us and either express a uh comment uh in the community comment portion of the agenda on a matter that's of concern to them, just to reminder that it can't be something that's on the agenda this evening or scheduled for a future public hearing.

0:56

Otherwise, you're welcome to uh share your thoughts with the council on a matter of concern to you.

1:00

And then we've got a couple of public hearings tonight where people can testify either uh in person or remotely.

1:07

And here's the call in information on the screen now, so people should be aware of that because the uh community comment comes up fairly quickly in the agenda.

1:15

Having provided that information, I'm gonna call the meeting to order and ask our clerk Sharon Ellison to call the roll.

Um we have a form of meeting agenda in front of us that's uh been published in advance of the meeting, so people uh had an opportunity to see if there was anything of interest to them.

2:03

And if we've got folks here tonight, I think, to testify in the public hearing portion of the agenda.

2:08

Uh Manager Neal, I'm going to turn to you because I think there's an item that you wanted to pull off of the agenda.

Speaker 3

2:13

2:15

Uh staff would propose to take item 6.6, the bag fee policy report uh off tonight's agenda and table that to July 21st, where we will have our subject matter expert available and be able to answer any questions you might

And um just a reminder, you've got three minutes and you'll get the yellow warning light, and you've got 30 seconds left.

3:52
