Well, first of all, let me introduce myself, Craig McFarlane.

I termed term limited out uh in December of 24 and started as president CEO of Penal Partnership in January of 25.

So I'm relative newbie to this job, uh certainly not to marketing or sales or economic development, but um here and kind of going around and talking to all of our members, especially our municipalities, and so that they can understand what Panal Partnership really is all about.

It's um it's really uh an excellent organization.

It should be an extension of you, an extension of of the things that you're trying to work on uh in your community uh from water to transportation to energy, those being the big three.

Uh, but it also includes more than that.

And if you look at uh the at the actual committees that are there, you'll see there's about eight different committees.

And I'm kind of getting ahead of myself, so I'll follow the slides here.

Um we are a 501c6, so we're nonprofit.

Uh we rely on memberships.

We have over 200 members now.

Uh the city of Eloy is a member, and uh actually all of the cities, other than maybe some of the Copper Corridor cities, the smaller cities are not members, but all the all the main cities within Panell County are members.

And you can see some of the other businesses that are also members.

It includes a large number of very large companies as well.

We we have pulled in a lot of Maricopa companies which have interest in Penal, and it's really about bringing all of that interest that we have here in Penall County uh and bringing it together.

And let's you know, trying to use our combined forces to do do good and do right for for the citizens and for our communities.

I want to read the whole thing, but we have eight committees, we have an emerging leaders initiative also, uh ninth committee, and I think uh council member uh Galindo, you mentioned the one we were doing at Lucid with the AAD, which is the Arizona uh economic development uh association.

Eloy City Council Meeting - July 14, 2025

The Eloy City Council met on Monday, July 14, 2025, at approximately 6:00 PM in the Eloy City Council Chambers. He also apologized for omitting the police report from the agenda and introduced Captain Gualtney.
  • Police Activity Report (June 2025): Captain Gualtney presented an update. Highlights:
    • Recruitment: Four lateral officers and one community service officer candidate in background process; one dispatcher candidate.
    • Community Engagement: Animal vaccination clinic (162 animals vaccinated, 36 microchips, 54 licenses issued); spay/neuter clinic (189 procedures, 50 feral cats sterilized, 40 funded by the city). Adopt-a-School program resumed; a new Cops and Clergy initiative is planned with quarterly meetings.
