One of our public works employees, Dave Mason, who's been an employee here in the township for 39 years.

His anniversary was just this month, actually, 39 years.

Dave and I have worked together, me 38 of his 39 years.

I got to know Dave very well when I became the traffic sergeant back in 1999.

So about 24 years I've known him very, very well.

He was laughing and joking in the garage and unfortunately went out and and shortly after he went out onto the road to actually clear the catch basin.

He had a massive heart attack and passed away.

It was Dave that everyone went to, not just me when they had those kind of questions.

And uh and he will be greatly missed.
