The City Council of Frederick held a public meeting on June 15, 2023, at 6:00 PM, solely to vote on convening a closed session. No other public business was conducted.
I would like to ask the board to convene in a closed session in accordance with the authority granted under the annotated code of Maryland General Provisions Article 3-305-B1i to discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, or performance evaluation of an appointee, employee, or official over whom and has jurisdiction. The reason for closing the meeting is to allow the board to candidly discuss the compensation package for a potential employee while maintaining the potential employees' privacy. Is there a motion?
