A meeting of the Frederick City Board of Aldermen took place on June 20, 2024. The sole recorded action was a motion to enter a closed session to discuss personnel matters. The motion was made and seconded, and passed unanimously.
I would like to ask the board to convene in a closed session in accordance with the authority granted under the annotated code of Maryland General Provisions Article Three-three oh five B one I to discuss the appointment, employment, assignment, promotion, discipline, demotion, compensation, removal, resignation, and performance evaluation of appointee employee or official over whom it has jurisdiction. The reason for closing the meetings to allow the board to candidly discuss proposed appointment of personnel. Motion by Alderwoman Zemchak, seconded by Alderman Shackleford. All those in favor.
