I would like to ask the council to convene in a closed session in accordance with the authority granted under the annotated Court of Maryland General Provisions Article 305 B three to consider the acquisition of real property for public purpose in matters directly related to the acquisition. Three dash three oh five B seven to consult with council to obtain legal advice and three dash three oh five B eight to consult with staff, consultants or other individuals about pending or potential litigation. Public discussion at this stage would jeopardize the city's ability to effectively effectively negotiate with property owners and council and would compromise litigation strategy and will risk revealing legal advice that is protected by attorney client privilege and strategic confidentiality.
