The Zoning Board of Appeals met on April 27, 2021, at 7:00 PM. The meeting was conducted virtually and broadcast on Channel 99. The board approved previous minutes, continued a new business item to the next meeting due to incomplete materials, and postponed officer elections because of a member's absence.

- Approval of Minutes: The minutes from the March 23, 2021, meeting were approved unanimously (3 votes in favor, with Chair Racheff, Vice Chair Aronow, and member Sisson voting aye; member Hicks/"Dr. Ying" also voted aye). Chair Racheff noted that only three votes were required.

- New Business – ZBA21-307AA (Administrative Appeal, 300A E. 4th Street): Chair Racheff moved to continue the case for 30 days to the May 25, 2021, hearing because pre-hearing materials were not ready for board review. The motion was seconded by Vice Chair Aronow and passed unanimously (4 votes in favor). The chair stated the continuance would allow all parties adequate time to review materials.
- Board Business – Election of Officers: Due to the absence of member Mr. West, Vice Chair Aronow moved to postpone the election of officers to the May 25, 2021, meeting. The motion was seconded by member Sisson and passed unanimously (4 votes in favor).

Good evening, everybody. Welcome to the April 27th, 2021 meeting of the zoning board of appeals. Um tonight's order of uh business. Um we've got a couple items before us. Uh this constitutes our call to order and our announcements. Um members of the board, you have in your packets before you the um meeting from the minutes from the March 23rd, 2021 meeting. Um I will entertain a um motion regarding those minutes. Mr. Speaker, this is Bob Sisson. I move that we accept the minutes as written. We have a motion from Mr. Sittin Sisson. Um do we have a second? We have a second from Mr. Arno. Um is there any discussion uh of the motion. Seeing none, I will poll the members uh and see how we vote. Mr. Arno, how do you vote? Four. Mr. Sisson, how do you vote? Four. Dr. Ying, how do you vote? Four. Uh the chair also votes in the affirmative that uh three votes is uh all we need, and the minutes from March 23rd, 2021 are approved as uh written. Um typically uh um in an in-person meeting, we might have swearing of uh witnesses, uh which uh we are not going to be doing um this evening in mass as we would if we were in person. Um there are no previous continuances before us, which would be item number five. There is no old business before us, which is item number six on our agenda. Item number seven on our agenda uh is new business. We have one uh item case zba 21-307AA for an administrative appeal at uh 300 A East uh Fourth Street. Um uh just as a um uh little bit of uh background for anybody who might uh be at home uh um here in uh my role as chairman of the board um uh for an administrative appeal case. Uh there are certain items that are intended to be um delivered and available for uh the members of the ZBA to review prior to the meeting. Um and uh those items were not uh ready and before uh the board and available for uh review by the members. Um and so therefore, as the chair, I am going to move that we continue this case for 30 days to the May 25th, 2021 ZBA uh hearing. Um and that way uh members of the board as well as the uh appellant and uh any other interested parties in the case will have adequate time to review all the pre-hearing materials.
