Great Barrington Select Board Joint Finance Committee Meeting – September 29, 2026

Okay, there's

five o'clock.

I will call the meeting for order.

Pursuant to MGL 7C38 20F after notifying the chair of the public body.

Any person may make an audio or video recording of an open session or meeting of a public body or may transmit the meeting through any meeting.

Beginning of the meeting, the chair shall inform other attendees of any such recording.

So at the current time, CTSB, the town of Great Barrington and Berkshire Edge is recording this part of the meeting.

Any member of the public wishing to speak at the meeting must receive permission of the chair.

The listing of agenda items of those reasonably anticipated by the chair, which may be discussed at the meeting.

Not all items listed may in fact be discussed, and other items not listed may be brought up to the permitted by law.

So

I'll call to order the select board meeting.

And we will go into executive session.

And this meeting will not return to open session at six o'clock.

It'll be a joint meeting with the finance committee, which is a completely separate meeting.

So we'll go into executive session under MGL 30A 21A6 for the following purpose to consider the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real estate regarding who's atonic waterworks.

If an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the public body, and the chair does so declare.

The motion that will be made is at the board meeting executive session pursuant to MGL 30A 21A6 for the following purpose to consider the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real estate regarding who's tonic waterworks because an open discussion may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the board in the town.
