Okay, so the 2324 budget, as the city manager said, we have actually both a public hearing and a business item on the same topic tonight.

So the staff presentation for the study session will focus on the potential amendments as proposed by the city manager.

The public hearing obviously will be for public feedback and for public comment.

And then the business item will be for council to uh vote or to indicate preference on the amendments.

These will all be then brought back on December 13th for budget adoption.

So we had a council question on November 1st on um on how the sales tax decline during the last recession impacted our reserve balances.

And so both the memo and our November 1st uh first presentation show the decline that we saw in 2007 or 2008-2009.
