The Planning and Zoning Commission held a brief meeting on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 9:02 AM in the Council Chambers. Chair Jim Harris presided. The meeting included approval of previous meeting minutes, staff announcements, and continuances of two public hearings related to a major development on McCulloch Boulevard North. One public comment was received. The meeting adjourned at 9:13 AM.

Um he is our planning technician, so he'll be working closely with with our staff on a lot of the the uh uh activities that uh really closely involve contact with the public. Does that like counter questions and visits and emails and phone calls and things like that? Um second item is the uh 2024 building code was adopted by city council uh at a recent meeting, and that's due to take effect in February, and it is an upgrade from the current 2018 building code that's being enforced. And that's just mostly an informative thing for people who may be interested. Uh if they have questions you might want to ask our building department what the uh what the changes are. Um and finally, general plan workshops. The in-person versions were held last week, and you can still participate because on Have a We Night the electronic version opened. So if you go to our website at LHCAC.gov or grab one of these forms right outside the door here on your way out. Uh that will uh give you the information need to access and answer the questionnaire that's on there. And there's also all kinds of other uh good information from the entire year practically of the process so far. So I'll direct people to that.
