Um, this is our I think our second official sort of work session dedicated to uh this project, um at least you know, outside of the realm of the HPS, which it is somewhat related.

Um, but really we've come a little bit of a um distance in terms of putting together a deliverable.

Um we have um sort of just made some progress over the summer with this project in terms of being able to uh bring a consultant on board and get them under contract and starting to get moving on project meetings and some deliverables to go out and talk about with the general public.

Planning Commission Meeting – August 25, 2025

    • Commissioners asked about maintaining engagement over two years; the team mentioned newsletters, QR codes, demonstration projects (e.g., a traffic garden), and continued outreach through community liaisons.

  • Other Business Planning Manager Jessica announced a one-time virtual focus group in September for members of boards and commissions to provide input on tree regulation amendments. Commissioner Jim volunteered to participate.

  • Schedule Review Upcoming meetings:

    • September 22: Work session on rezoning for housing project.
