You get to see uh local art and enjoy being out in the downtown's street.

I really think beautification takes many forms, color, design, artistry.

If that isn't by a mural that's painted on a building, it's street gallery, if it's the alley gallery doorways that you see, banners that hang on the light poles, all of these things make somebody know that they're in the right place.

It's a place that's being taken care of.

There is a reason to appreciate where you are.

So if you've ever come to one of our recycling drop-off sites, you know that those dumpsters are often very full and overflowing, but we are slowly converting them.

We're in the parking lot of the Cyril Augier Community Center, and this is our first location that has made the switch.

So having these smaller dumpsters that can be emptied on site will keep them from overflowing so easily.

The larger dumpsters used to have to be put onto a truck and driven all the way to the recycling center, then emptied and then brought back.

And our goal is to have a cleaner and safer environment for our residents that use these.

A resolution of the Louisville Metro Council amending the Metro Council Employee Handbook to update the Metro Council social media policy.

Colleagues, this resolution updates the employee handbook to include a social media policy.

In the past, Metro Council has operated on Metro IT social media policy.

We should not take into account the unique ways in which Metro Council members, their staff, and Metro Council staff as a whole use and manage their social media accounts.

This policy was written specifically for Metro Council and provides guidance for the proper use of social media accounts to ensure that Metro Council social media accounts are compliant with state laws on data retentions in the ethics code.

The policy also addresses the reality that many Metro Council accounts are forums for the public to use and engage with and provide First Amendment protections for both Metro Council users as well as members of the public.

We will need to amend the introduced resolution to adopt the amendment uploaded on the agenda.

The amendment mostly correct technical and title and grammatical uh changes.
