The Government Oversight/Audit and Appointments Committee met on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 5:03 PM (local time) in Council Chambers and virtually. Chair Donna L. Purvis attended virtually, so Committee Member Andrew Owen presided. The committee considered four agenda items but only acted on one: the annexation ordinance for the City of Prospect. Two pending ordinances were held without discussion, and a special discussion item was deferred.

There are three new baby tiger cubs here at the Louisville Zoom. These three babies were born overnight. They were born on May twenty-seventh at one twenty-four AM. And these are the first Amor Tiger Cubs born here at the Louisville Zoo in twenty-two years. Here in Louisville, we're proud of our water.
