The Mandan City Commission met on September 16, 2025, at 5:30 PM in the Bosch Ferlic meeting room at Mandan City Hall. Commissioners Schoberg, HeinSean, Brown, Roar, and Mayor Frelick were present. The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Officer Tucker Williams, followed by employee anniversary recognition and new employee introductions. Key agenda items included construction updates, a water main break report, the 2026 budget public hearing, a preliminary plat, liquor license transfer, and multiple engineering contracts.

Here. Ron. Yes. Roar. Here, Mayor Frelick. Here. At this time, I ask you to please stand. And Mandan Police Officer Tucker Williams will lead us in the Pledge of Allegiance. A pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. And to the Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Thank you, Tucker. Now we will uh proceed to announcements, uh quarterly employee anniversary recognition. Amy. Hello. Can everyone hear me okay? I don't know. That's working, but thank you for everyone for coming. Can't believe we're already in quarter three of the year, but uh always an exciting sighting meeting to announce the milestones of different employees who um have reached various years of service with the city of Mandan. Um it must have been a busy night tonight because we didn't have uh a lot of the group that could come. Uh they had prior commitments, but we still want to read off their names and acknowledge them. So I will do that first and then we will call up those that are here. Um so for those that could not be here with three years of service. We have Angela Black. Uh she is our canine police officer. Stephen Anhalt, our part-time firefighter, Tyler Maim, mechanic with Public Works, Colton Turnit, equipment operator too with public works, Adam Alliston, equipment operator to forestry, and Brenton Beckler, senior building worker at the library. And for 15 years of service, we have Chad Nicholas, uh firefighter and EMT. So then moving on to those who were able to make it tonight. Uh we'll call your name up and Mayor Frelick will uh congratulate you and thank you and give you your certificate, and then we'll get a picture at the end as well. Uh so starting with five years of service, we have Brenda Johnson, our senior real property appraiser. Congratulations, Brenda. And then we also have five years of service, Lindsay Gerhart, our airport manager. Congrats, Lindsay. So that's who we have tonight. Thank you, everyone, for your years of service. So new employee introduction. Chief Siegler. Mr. Mayor and Commissioners, I've got three employees to introduce. Uh the first one is going to be uh Tucker Williams, Officer Tucker Williams. He is uh currently lives in Mandan. Uh he is a graduate from Red River High School, Grand Fork, so he comes from the east side of the state. He's also a University of North Dakota uh graduate uh with a bachelor's bachelor's degree of public affairs.
