At this time we will start out with announcements.

And we got Jerick on the construction project updates.

Evening, Mayor and Commissioners.

I do have a little presentation pulled up here.

I got seven projects to talk about today.

And always at the top, Memorial Highway.

I like to keep this one up front.

Just to remind everybody, Memorial Highway split into two phases, often talked about as phase one, phase two, or the east half and the west half.

And those the the split between those two project phases is at 32nd Avenue or right by the bowling alley.

On the east half or phase one, paving is occurring on and off the roadway.

People might notice the lot of pay a lot of roadway pavement going down in huge sections.

Intersection work at 43rd started today.

There's an alternate alternate route using 19th.

And then would like to just note again that 19th Street has been patched and it should be a good route for people to use.

And then and then they'll close something behind them and move on to phase four.

So that's kind of the pretty progression that we can expect for this project.

Did get uh the police department uh went and flew this project for us today, and we were able to get some pretty good uh drone footage and drone photos here too.

So appreciate police department doing that for us.

Um there is a newsletter that went out on May 11th.

Um I think that the contractor's been doing a pretty good job at uh keeping people informed and uh doing a lot of public engagement.

So I just wanted to mention that there are new letters available for people.

I think that distribution uh list can be expanded if people are interested in receiving that.

Um Collins Avenue Reservoir, nothing super new going on there.

Still working uh on the finishing up the retaining wall work and uh doing site grading and uh reservoir painting should start here soon.

So that that project's kind of coming to a close, should be done mid-summer this year.

Just another viewpoint there.

Uh we have a downtown concrete project going on.

This is 60 locations at different spots in downtown.

Um we have an interim completion date for mid-June on this project, or a completion date for mid-June on this project, and we are on currently tracking to meet that date as well.

8th Avenue Northwest and 27th Street.

We had our first public input meeting with on that last week on Thursday, I believe, and that was at Mandan High School.

A lot of discussions at this first public input meeting about how how people can get involved with these projects, how people can uh let us know what their concerns are in their neighborhoods, and uh through that it would inform the scope of the project and therefore the cost and stuff like that, so we can get a really good um price before we start talking special assessments.

We have our second public input meeting scheduled for June 25th at Mandan High School, and it we have it scheduled for the PLC room as well, same location, but it was pretty cramped in there, so we might try and find a larger location at the high school if we can.

Um intention with our timeline is to bring this for district creation at the June 2nd meeting.

We would want letters to hit people's mailbox on June 2nd or maybe June 3rd, um, letting people know about the second public input meeting as well as estimated special assessments and um what the protest uh process looks like.

So people in that area can expect um contact soon.
