For the record, I'm the County Clerk Moana Luty, and seated next to me is Deputy Clerk Rochelle Thompson, and next to her is our uh director of council services, David Rotts joining us from our office, our legislative division staff, Joyce Morishige, Lawrence Saldana, Joey Yoshida, Arthur Suyama, and Edgar.

Each testifier will be allowed to speak for up to three minutes.

The quorum shall be maintained at all times.

Any person who behaves in a manner that disrupts, disturbs, or impedes the orderly conduct of any council meeting can at the discretion of the presiding officer or a majority of present council members be ejected or banned from council meetings.

Examples of disruptive behavior include, but are not limited to heckling, shouting, use of profanity, threatening or slanderous remarks made to any member of the council staff or general public.

Good afternoon.

I'm here to say that I think three stories for the historic district exceeds the desire of the majority of people that respect the historic district.

And I think we've been through enough.

I think an exemption would be appropriate for individual buildings.

But from the standpoint of the character of La Haina storic area.

And I was a resident.

But my late husband had a business for over 30 years on Front Street in the historic district.

And I think we were the last shop to have mutton windows because most other tenants took them out without permission.

So it's important for their character.

As far as the three-story front street apartments, I think they should also put in elevators because I'm elderly.

I can do the stairs now, but another time maybe not so.

So I think that that that might be something you would consider as appropriate for senior buildings.

Buildings primarily for people of age.
