We are going to have our attorney read the items for the record. Thank you, Madam Chair. Uh, first resolution is a resolution of the Board of Commissioners of the Southeast Overtown Park West CRA Authorizing a grant and amount not to exceed seventy-five thousand dollars to the Liberty City Community Revitalization Trust. Um to underwrite costs associated with the twenty twenty-six youth employment program, which provides employability and financial management skills to low income and at risk youth. Uh authorizing executive executive director to disperse funds at his discretion on a reimbursement basis or directly to vendors upon presentation of invoices and satisfactory documentation subject to availability of funding from account number one zero zero five one nine two zero one zero one eight eight three zero zero zero uh zero zero zero zero zero zero zero. Uh authorizing executive executive director to disperse funds at his discretion on a reimbursement basis directly to vendors upon presentation of invoices and satisfactory documentation subject to availability of funding from account number one zero zero five one nine two zero one zero one eight eight three zero zero zero uh zero zero zero zero zero zero uh other grants and aids non-tiff revenue fund and further authorizing executive director to negotiate and execute an agreement uh CRA resolution number two is a resolution of the board of the SEOPW CRA by a four-fifths affirmative vote uh ratifying approving and confirming the executive director's recommendation finding attached and incorporated here and as exhibit a competitive negotiation methods and procedures are not practical or advantageous pursuing to sections 1885 and 1886 of the code of the city of Miami Florida and waiving said procedures awarding a grant and an amount not to exceed 1 million ninety-two thousand six hundred dollars to St. John Institutional Missionary Baptist Church to underwrite costs for urgent repair and rehabilitation in accordance with the 40-year recertification requirements at 1328 Northwest Third Avenue authorizing the executive director to disperse funds at his discretion on a reimbursement basis or directly to vendors upon presentation of invoices and satisfactory documentation subject to the availability of funding from the accountant listed herein and authorizing the executive director to negotiate any all documents next necessary all in forms acceptable to council and the third item is a resolution of the SCOPWCRA uh board of commissioners by a four fifth affirmative vote ratifying approving and confirming the executive director's recommendation to finding attached and incorporate as exhibit a that competitive negotiation methods and procedures are not practicable or advantageous pursuant to sections 1885 and 1886 of the code of the city of Miami Florida awarding a grant in an amount not to exceed 1,500 thousand dollars to Marcus Samuelson Development Group um to offset project bill dot cost for the adapted reuse and redevelopment of the historic Clyde Killens pool hall located at 920 Northwest 2nd Avenue authorizing the executive director to disperse funds at his discretion on a reimbursement basis or directly to vendors upon presentation of invoices and satisfactory documentation subject to the availability of funding from the accounts listed here in further authorizing the executive director to negotiate and execute any and all documents necessary all in forms acceptable to council thank you is there anyone motion is there anyone here that would like to speak on any items before us public comment chaplain Stanley Young 500 Northwest 2nd Avenue Miami Florida I'm speaking on uh number one uh youth employment that's the way to go uh I hope each commissioner uh grab a hold of this and run with it we need uh start our youth out in the business world right by teaching them certain ethics that they would need to continue in the corporate manner so I'm 100% for youth employment I support it uh let's do it this is how you fight crime this is how you fight illiteracy this is how you fight a lot of uh social eels in our community by getting our youth involved in in the business world right thank you god bless thank you good morning uh good morning uh chairman king and the commission my name is Ron Frazier I'm a retired architect and urban planner and I've been a volunteer consultant through uh to the church for this renovation I I've helped them select the architect to bring the project back up to state as well as the contractor one of my responsibilities was to review the cost help them through the certification process and to make sure that everything got back on track. So I'm only here to tell you that I'm in support of this project but also to answer any other questions that you may have we put together a pretty thorough report analyzing the situation and what have you so that's about it.
