Item 2: Paris Baguette – Signage (Location in NRD-1, transit zone T6-80)
- Owner Cesar Paoli presented a corporate sign (white with blue edging) for the first Miami location. He noted the sign is standard across 5,000 stores and that he had fought for interior customizations (mural, open ceiling) but could not alter the exterior sign. Committee members expressed concern that the sign was generic and lacked artistic flair, suggesting creative modifications (e.g., materials, color, or additional art). The applicant stated corporate inflexibility. After debate, a motion to disapprove was retracted. A new motion was made to approve the sign as presented with a condition that the interior mural be lit at night (24/7 or at least until 3 AM). The applicant agreed.
- Outcome: Approved 4–1 (with one abstention) subject to condition that the interior mural remain lit throughout the night.

Item 3: Nino Gordo Wynwood – Art/Glass Treatment (112 NW 28th St.)
- Representative Eduardo introduced the restaurant group (ranked among Latin America’s 50 best). The facade features a Cocodrilo door with graffiti/street art, including paste-ups with the restaurant name. The applicant explained that artwork was installed before obtaining WDRC approval and is now needed for a certificate of occupancy. The committee noted the artwork is already in place and asked about covering the door (fire safety). The applicant confirmed the door remains clear. No objections.
