Good morning everyone. My name is Natalie Fanny Gonzalez. Welcome to the County Council session on March 10th. We have two proclamations today. We're gonna start start with a proclamation recognizing the art stream players by Council Member Evan Glass. Those who came for that proclamation, please come forward. Hi, good morning. Thank you. Thank you. Good morning. It is a great day here in Rockville. The sun is shining, and we have some incredible guests joining us today. It is my honor and pleasure to welcome uh the Artstream players here to the County Council to celebrate their twentieth anniversary. Right? This is wonderful. I have been attending events and productions of Artstream over the years, and you know there are so many things that you all do that are incredible and inspiring, but it's just heartwarming uh to hear your music, to see you dance, uh, to see the joy that you bring, not only to each other, uh, but to your families and to the community. Uh, it is a wonderful organization, um, and I am so glad that you've taken time out of your day to come up here and to all of my colleagues and to all everybody watching. We're gonna have a special production as well. Uh so stay tuned for that in a moment. But before before they uh regal all of us, um I would like to to uh let our executive director uh make a few words and then we can introduce everybody. Thank you, thank you so much. Hi, I'm Catherine Dubois. Um thank you so much for having me. Thank you, uh Council President of Bonnie Gonzalez, thank you, Evan Councilmember Evan Glass. It is a privilege to be here. Artstream has been operating for 20 years. We are an organization for performing artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and we empower them to shine, to perform, to connect with the community, and to share their talents with us. So thank you so much. I'm gonna let them show their talents to you now. Real quick before we do that, let everyone introduce themselves. Say hi and say your name. Adam McKretsky. Denise Green. Kim Schofield. Linkston Caldwell. And that's a Dexter Sawyer, Pamela Leighton Villick. Fantastic. Now the moment we're all been waiting for. So let's start giving. There is a choice we're making. We're saving our own lives. It's to make a better day, just you and me. We are the world. We are the children. We are the ones to make a brighter day. So let's start giving. There's a choice for making. We're saving our own lives. It's to make a better day. Just you and me.
