Tonight we have presentations on the Elm Street Redevelopment Project, and I'm going to recognize Administrative Services Director Tim Cummings for an introduction of the President.

The reason why we're here this evening is to hear two proposals.

We will have Ryan from Penrose coming up and going to give you an overview of their proposal for the redevelopment of the Elm Street Middle School.

As you may recall, this body put out uh uh approved a resolution uh back in 2024, um basically indicating that we would be looking to dispose of uh something just under nine-ish acres uh that had an improvement of the Elm Street Middle School through an RFP.

We have uh uh two proposals in hand to date, uh, one from uh Pen Rose and another one from LMG.

Um and we will be hearing from LMG a little bit later uh this this evening.

Uh the way I envision um this this uh presentation unfolding is is that they will provide you the the presentation that they had previously given, um allow you all an opportunity to ask questions along the way as they may arise.

Just want to tease out one minor point, which is if you believe that you're going to start asking questions that may be um business terms of nature.

I I just want to remind you all that that's something that you may want to go into a non-public for, and so uh I defer to you as to whether you want to you know hear the presentations in public and then maybe ask your questions in a non-public.

Um but nonetheless I wanted to kind of just tease that out before we start tonight so there's an understanding of how this would all unfold.

Um, and again, doing that at uh at the next presentation a little bit later later this this evening.

Um after this evening's presentation, uh what I envision happening is we will continue with our um vetting process.

There's a uh a working group that is continuing to vet their proposals.

Uh ultimately what I envision is a recommendation back to you and the mayor sometime, ideally in the in the early fall.

Um I I will leave my comments there unless anyone has any questions of me.
