It's required for the clerk to present to the governing body annually the list of unlicensed dogs.

Um which if you'd like to view the list, it's available in the city clerk's office.

It's not public, but being the Alderman that approved the list, you're entitled to view it.

And these are these are residents that have not renewed their dog licenses from the prior year.

If they have a phone number, we've done two uh robocalls.

And then everyone that remains unlicensed, every dog that remains unlicensed, we've sent a postcard to those residents.

Um so we've done all the communication available and um dog licenses were due April 30th.

Uh May is a grace period, dollar month fine start June 1st, and after June 20th, the $25 civil forfeiture fine kind of be applied with approval of the governing body.

So then does the dog officer go and um remove the dog off the premises or what exactly I just want to know because so people can hear this also, you know.
