The New Braunfels City Council convened in an executive session on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. to deliberate economic development negotiations. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Neal Linnartz with a quorum present (all seven council members). The council entered closed session at 5:01 p.m. under Texas Government Code Section 551.087 to discuss matters related to Continental Autonomous Mobility US, LLC (Aumovio). No action was taken, and the meeting adjourned directly from closed session at 5:21 p.m.
Okay, good evening. We're gonna call this executive session of the City Council of New Bromfels to order on Monday, September 22nd, 2025. Mrs. Wilkinson, will you please call order? Councilmember Carter here. Councilmember Capizi? Here. Councilmember Edwards. Mayor Pro Tim S Bradley. Here. Councilmember Lebowski? Here. Councilmember Ryan? Here. And Mayor Leonard. Here we have a quorum. In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551.071, the city may convene in a closed session to discuss any of the items listed below. Any final action or vote on any executive session item will be taken in open session. Tonight we plan to deliberate issues regarding economic development negotiations in accordance with section 551.087 of Texas Government Code, specifically regarding Continental Autonomous Mobility US LC or Almovio. And when we uh recess to closed session, we do not anticipate taking any action tonight. And if there's no action to be taken, we will adjourn directly from closed session. And we are leaving open session, going into closed session at 5 01 p.m. on Monday, September 22nd, 2025.
