The New Braunfels City Council met in executive session on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Mayor Neal Linnartz called the meeting to order. The council convened in closed session at 5:02 p.m. to deliberate the appointment, evaluation, duties, discipline, or removal of the City Manager under Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code. The council anticipated no action and took none.
Good evening. We're going to call this Monday, November 24th, 2025, executive session of the City Council of New Bromfels to order. Mrs. Wilkinson, will you please call roll? Councilmember Carter. Here. Councilmember Capizi is not present. Councilmember Edwards? Here. Council Mayor Pro Tem Sbradley? Here. Councilmember Lebowski? Here. Councilmember Ryan? Here. And Mayor Leonard. Here we have a quorum. In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551.071. The City Council may convene in a closed session to discuss any of the items listed below. Any final action or vote on any executive session item will be taken in open session. We don't anticipate taking any action tonight, so if there's no action to be taken, we will adjourn directly from our closed session. Tonight we plan to deliberate the appointment, evaluation, duties, discipline, or removal of the city manager in accordance with section 551.074 of Texas Government Code. And it's 502, leaving open session to go into closed session on Monday, November 24th, 2025.
