The New Braunfels City Council met in executive session on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Neal Linnartz with all seven council members present. The council convened into closed session at 5:01 p.m. to discuss matters permitted under the Texas Open Meetings Act. No action was taken, and the meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m. without reconvening into open session.
You ready? Yes, sir. Okay. Good evening. We're going to call this Monday, April 27th, 2026, executive session of the City Council of New Bromfels to order. Mrs. Wilkinson, will you please call roll? Councilmember Carter. Here. Councilmember Capisi. Here. Councilmember Edwards. Here. Mayor Pro Tim Sbradley. Here. Councilmember Lebowski. Here. Councilmember Ryan. Here. And Mayor Leonards. Here we have a quorum. In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code, Chapter 551.071. The City Council may convene in a closed session to discuss any of the items listed below. Any final action or vote on any executive session item will be taken in open session. We don't anticipate taking any action tonight. If we don't take any action, we'll adjourn directly from closed session. However, if we do need to take action, we will come back and take action in open session. Tonight we plan to deliberate issues regarding economic development negotiations in accordance with section five five one dot oh eight seven of Texas government code regarding Texas State Technical College. It is five oh one on Monday, April 27th, 2026, and we are leaving open session going into closed session.
