The New Braunfels City Council convened in executive session on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers. Mayor Pro Tem Michael Capizzi presided in the absence of Mayor Michael French. Six council members were present: D. Lee Edwards, Lawrence Spradley, Michael Capizzi, Toni Carter, Mary Ann Labowski, and Nikki Shaw. The meeting adjourned into closed session at 5:02 PM and concluded at 5:33 PM without reconvening into open session. No votes or formal actions were taken.
Time is five o'clock. We'll call this City of New Bromfels Executive Session to Order. The date is September 14th, 2026. In accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.071. The City Council may convene in a closed session to discuss any of the items listed below. And B, deliberate the appointment and employment of a city attorney and city manager, including matters related to the search and selection of candidates pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074 personnel matters.
