I am Ty Hankerson, Chair of the Committee on Parks and Recreation, and I'd like to welcome all of you to this hearing of this hearing of the Committee on Parks and Recreation, where we will vote on two pre-considered for ceremonial co-naming bills. As we commemorate the 25th year since the events of 9-11, the first preconsidered bill will ceremonial ceremonially name co-name 26 of his and public places that celebrate the heroic work of various firehouses and first responders on that day. It would also commemorate the many memorials and acts of commemoration that have arisen through the work of different communities throughout the city over the years. Thank you again and welcome.
