The North Salem Planning Board held its regular meeting on December 17, 2025 at 7:30 PM. The board addressed the Little Mountain project mitigation schedule, took a unanimous vote, and entered executive session at the end of the meeting.
Okay. I'm going to call the December 17th meeting of the North Southern Planning Board to order. We have one I two items on the agenda. The first is I'll make a motion to go into executive session on the advice of council. Do I have a second? Second. All in favor? Aye. And we will do that at the end of the meeting. Next item on the agenda is Little Mountain. We granted a resolution of approval back in the spring, I believe. Yeah. Yeah, I think in May. Yep. And one of the items left open on the resolution of approval was how we were going to deal with the implementation of the mitigation plan and some of the conditions of the approval, which required a resubmission and an approval of this board. We received that resubmission in a letter dated October 6th from Tim Miller and associates. And I have a resolution to offer accepting what they are proposing. So whereas the applicant has submitted a letter from Tim Mill and Associates dated October 6, 2025, with responses regarding the two outstanding items in the resolution of approval, specifically 3A1 and 2. Now therefore, be it resolved that the planning board hereby accepts the intended schedule for the implementation of the mitigation plan as originally approved in 2023 by saying the mitigation plan will be implemented in the spring of 2026, depending upon the projected construction completion. And I've added to this any deviation from this shall require further approval from the planning board. And furthermore, resolve that the steps the applicant will undertake to ensure adherence to the permit conditions to avoid further deviations or changes without prior notification approval shall be as follows. The mitigation area shall be fenced off with a silk fence or construction fencing to prevent any disturbance to the area. The fencing will be removed once construction is completed, and no changes to the mitigation plan will be made without the prior authorization of the planning board. So I'll make a motion to accept their two conditions. Do I have a second? Second. Any discussion? Everyone feel this is adequate. Seems good. All right. All in favor? Aye. And I vote aye. As you might have heard me uh talking to the planner before I open the meeting, I think your plan set is in order now. Um I'm gonna take one more look at the last submission with just checking out the numbers, and we should be able to move forward to signing it. Thank you. Okay. Thank you. All right. Appreciate you guys if you deviate from anything let us know ahead of time. Of course.
