So

Speaker 1

0:28

we need the minutes of June 1st to take a look at and to approve.

0:32

Have you all taken a look at those?

0:33

There were a few typos, but I'm not gonna get into the spelling of lumber.

0:38

But if you have a chance to go over that at some point, you can do that.

0:42

Are there any questions about the minutes?

Speaker 2

0:46

No.

Speaker 1

0:47

Do we have a motion to approve the minutes?

Unassigned speaker

0:50

I'll

Speaker 2

0:50

make a motion.

Speaker 1

0:51

Lorraine will make a

Speaker 2

0:52

motion.

0:53

Oh second.

Speaker 1

0:54

Marcia?

0:55

Thank you very much.

0:56

Are there any further discussion?

0:58

All in favor say aye.

1:00

Aye.

1:01

Any say nay?

1:02

So we're unanimous.

1:03

Thank you very much.

1:04

Thank you, Jennifer.

1:05

Welcome.

1:06

So I suppose a thing to do at this point is to go just go into public hearing.

1:12

And we don't have anyone present, but this is the format that we've chosen to use because the building that we're considering for Main Street Purdies is a landmark of long standing, and it's in a very prominent place in Purdy's.

1:33

So is there a motion to go into public hearing?

1:37

Steve, yes.

1:39

Move to do that.

1:39

And is there a second for that?

1:41

Lorraine?

1:42

I'll ask you.

1:44

Are we all in favor of doing that?

1:46

Say aye.

1:47

No one is saying nay, so now we are in public hearing.

1:50

And as you can see, no one has come, but as I was saying a few minutes ago, I think it was important that because this building is so prominent that we have uh given the owners an opportunity of nearby properties uh to come and make their thoughts known here.

2:08

And one of the burdens of the um applicant and the owner, which is Foster Moore who's here, is to show us that you did send letters announcing the public hearing and that you have the receipts for those that you can hand in to our our secretary.

2:27

So everybody was properly noticed

Speaker 3

2:30

the what the white postals like saying that they received them.

2:33

Um no, the white ones that are stamped by the um post office on the daily mail.

2:40

They give you a white receipt.

2:42

I don't believe so.

2:44

That's what that's what I need.

2:46

These ones are both no, so when you mail the letters, they give they stamp the white, the part that's attached to this, the green that they they stamp the part that says certified mail.

3:05

Yeah, that's when the people received it.

3:07

That's when they picked up their mail.

3:09

So there's a white.

3:10

See where this is ripped.

3:12

There's a white receipt, postal receipt that says the date that you actually brought it to the post office.

3:18

Okay.

3:19

That's what's required.

3:21

Because we need to know what day you mailed it, not what day they received.

Speaker 1

3:29

So we don't have any of those receipts.

Speaker 3

3:32

No, I mean he has that they did receive it.

3:36

That they received them, it just what's important is the date that it got mailed.

3:42

Right, you know, that's that it was in the how do we solve that?

3:47

Um

Speaker 4

3:48

find out if there are receipts.

Speaker 2

3:51

Was it also um posted in the newspaper?
