First item on our agenda is approval of the December 2nd, 2025 minutes.

Uh so you'll see uh from your minutes, we do detail what we discussed at our last uh meeting in regards to the changes that uh Mr.

Neville will present to you.

Um they detail what we discussed and what we updated, but I believe we have a final clean version ready for uh your approval to send to mayor council, but without further do I'll fight Bill up to go over those changes.

And we really appreciate um all the effort that the commission has put into reviewing this plan from everything from whether I had a uh the wrong punctuation to the the meaning and content of some of the sections.

So um I think by including and updating um the public comment spreadsheet that is in your packet.

Uh I didn't really intend on going through point by point unless you have a question.

Otherwise, um I think what was important about it is that it does reflect uh the fact that you you considered public comment.

Uh we did incorporate uh many of your suggestions, those are detailed and with page references to those.

Um and uh Commissioner Robertson, uh you know, we you had called my attention to the fact that you provided earlier comments, so I've I've listed those on there as well because I don't know that we had really gone through those in detail.

So I think there's an advantage um to not only uh providing this level of detail for the state comments, but also for the ones that the commissioners have provided.

I think that lets the um council know what you've been thinking and and the kind of um fine-tuning that you've done.

So with that said, what we have is um a clean copy of the the resolution that was presented the last time.

Um the back of the page is empty, so I I just you know would let you know that if you do want to amend uh anything, um you know you still have a chance.

We've represented that the uh comprehensive plan is a working document.

So we're we're not closing the book on it um today, but you are uh potentially going to forward that up to the mayor and city council.

They'll have public hearings, you'll have an opportunity to continue to participate in that discussion.

Um I would say, Mr.

Chairman, if you're ready, um perhaps the commissioners can just let you know if they have any last thoughts and and we can write those into the motion if you'd like to.

This is a good job of incorporating capturing all the comments that we made last time.

I think it did, but just want to double check and make sure.

How does Ocean City become a county and not have to send money to Worcester County?

Interesting.

Seriously, I mean, uh I mean we have everything on our own.

We don't really need Worcester County.

Except schools.

They need us way more than we need them.

Schools, you know, I think schools, but you could pay outside of the city.

You'd have to have an agreement for that, yeah.

And be fine.

Yeah.

Um since I'm not an expert on on the uh you know state level creation of counties.

Um I don't know that that's something I could respond to.
