Like to call tonight's meeting to order. Please join me in the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. As we begin our meeting this evening, I'll take a moment to acknowledge that we do have a quorum of planning commissioners present with uh everybody here. Nine of nine. Good to see you all. Uh thanks to everyone in the chamber for attending tonight's meeting. Uh Planning Commission meetings are an important part of the process for interpreting and applying the city's comprehensive plan and the unified development ordinance. It's important that our meetings are conducted with dignity and respect. And that applies to every person in attendance. We strive to provide an atmosphere where the ideas and opinions of all participants are held in the highest regard. Finally, the actions on the issues we discuss are ultimately under the responsibility of the city council. As the planning commission, we're here to help the council as our elected representatives to be fully informed to make the best choices for our city. By statute, the planning commission strives not to engage with any party on the issues on our agenda prior to this meeting tonight. Should that interaction take place as a result of a business relationship or any type of interaction, which is referred to as ex parte communication? Commissioners will report that interaction when we reach that item in the agenda. We'll move on to our consent agenda. This evening we have five items on the consent agenda. Just one clarification. So the motion uh for the consent agenda does include all of that. So are there any items that uh any commissioners need pulled for additional discussion from the consent agenda? Any questions for staff? Uh if not, I will call for a motion for passage. Mr. Chair, I move to approve the consent agenda. Thank you, Commissioner Breen. Do I have a second? Second. Thank you, Commissioner Bergida. All those in favor say aye. Aye. All opposed, nay. And that motion passes nine to zero. We'll move on to our regular agenda on our public hearing. This evening we have one scheduled public hearing. However, a continuance has been requested. Uh just for information, when a case is scheduled for a continuance, the public hearing will not be opened. Therefore, comments, recommendations, or analysis are not provided or discussed until the public hearing is opened. This process ensures that anyone interested in the case has full opportunity to participate. The continuance is requested for a future planning commission meeting for RZ 24-0005.
