Um for the city of Olatha, Pioneer Park, which is PR24-005, and the fire station number nine, PR24-0010.

Um, for the ease of discussion and presenting both of these, we combined both of them as they're in the same location and related to each other.

So starting out with the site in general, um, both locations are northwest of College and Woodland Road, outlined in red.

The proposed Pioneer Park is located in this larger portion on the property in approximately over 16 acres there.

And then two acres of this property is dedicated to the fire station number nine or PR24-0010.

Both properties are zoned to the agricultural ag district, um, which occurred in 2012 in the green there.

The area is predominantly zoned and surrounded by residential properties and city or county rule.

The feature land use uh designation um is conventional neighborhood in yellow, as well as secondary greenway in the lighter gray color shown on your screen.

So that kind of bisects the pioneer park area as well.

Both the public safety services and parks and open space are permitted by right in the zoning district and align with the designated land uses seen here.

Additionally, both of these sites are located in the Woodland Road Corridor plan, which is outlined here.

The star indicates the location of these two preliminary plans, and also aligns with the proposed future park, which is located loosely there.

So the Pioneer Park will help address future park needs within this overall area.
