Like to call tonight's meeting to order.

I pledge allegiance through the flag of the United States of America and to the Republicans.

So we begin our meeting this evening.

We'll take a moment to acknowledge that we do have a quorum of planning commissioners present with six of nine in attendance.

I want to thank everyone in the chamber for attending this evening's meeting.

Planning commission meetings are an important part of the process for interpreting and applying the city's comprehensive plan and the unified development ordinance.

It's important that our money meetings are conducted with dignity and respect.

That applies to every person in attendance.

We strive to provide an atmosphere where the ideas and opinions of all participants are held in the highest regard.

Finally, the actions on the issues we discuss are ultimately under the responsibility of the City Council.

As a planning commission, we're here to help the council as our elected representatives to be fully informed to make the best choices for our city.

By statute, the planning commission strives not to engage with any party on the issues on our agenda prior to our meeting.

Should that interaction take place as a result of a business relationship or any other interaction, which we refer to as ex parte communication, commissioners will report that interaction when we reach that item on the agenda.

We'll now move to the consent agenda.

And this evening we have two items on the consent agenda.

Commissioners, do you need to pull any items for additional information or questions from staff?

Commissioner Creighton.

I would like to call uh poll item B is in Bravo, please.

Okay, please know for the record that item B has been pulled for from the consent agenda.

So we'll now move forward on uh item B.

Um not asking for a presentation or anything on this.

Just wanted to make a comment.

Um, as noted in our packet, this is an old zoning district that we don't use anymore.

It's an old plan district.

And this is the final plat, just all we're doing is procedural.

We're just setting lot lines and the like.

No issues on that.

My only comment is that probably other than Mr.

Corcoran and myself, who's not here this evening.

We may be the only people that are still around that when that was a uh zoning category.

And so the plan districts were always designed to find something a little different than the standard.

And I know this has gone through the process, and my only comment would be to staff is if for some reason, and I would highly doubt this, that the applicant didn't need to come back and for some administrative changes would just be to encourage to make sure that we continue to maintain the uh the quality that we expected out of that old zoning criteria.

And that that was just the only thing I wanted to do, get on the record about that, and so no questions and problems with it.
