Well, we're moving into public comments.

During this portion of the meeting, community members may address the planning commission regarding items related to city business, including items on the agenda.

In order for the commission to maintain impartiality and the appearance of fairness and to comply with the public disclosure law for political campaigns.

Speakers will not be permitted to make public comments before the commission in two areas.

Items for which the commission held a public hearing but has not yet completed its deliberations, then issued a recommendation to city council, or where the speaker promotes or opposes a candidate for public office or a ballot measure.

Comments are limited to three minutes or less.

And I think they're actually a member of the media.

Um and for that tonight, um, we're discussing the preliminary capital facilities plan 2026-2031 financial plan.

And actually, um, should be a pretty quick meeting for you folks tonight.

I'll share a slide.

I am just looking for you uh you folks to um assign chapters, and I'm sorry, let me switch some screens real quick.

Um looking to assign those chapters for your review, and then to also discuss um when to get follow-up questions for our chapter contributors um in preparation for our September, I believe it was September 8th meeting um where we'll discuss the program chapters with those chapter contributors.

Um so uh are you folks seeing a slide with the program sections?

So I do want to give you a heads up that um Commissioner Najati, um, though not technically a part of the subcommittee, has offered to review a couple of sections.

Um, should you want to spread uh that work a little bit?

Um her request is to uh maybe assign her the utility chapters where possible.

So that might include drinking water, wastewater, storm and surface water.

So that's an option there.

Um and then Commissioner Ibrahimovich, who can't be here this evening.

Um, he is fine reviewing any of the chapters um that um the both of you uh would like to assign um or don't want to review yourselves.

So with that, um it's really kind of a discussion between the two of you to start on what chapters are of most interest.

Um so Commissioner Berger, I'll turn it back over to you and I'll work through this uh as you go.

Um so Daniel, you were able to do this last year.

Do you feel like you have a familiarity with any of the chapters that are available?

Yeah, um, I've been doing CFP for a couple years.

Love it.

Casey likes to call it boring.

I think it's anything but um, but that's okay, couldn't still convincing him.

Um in the past, I have taken on transportation and some others.

Uh definitely would love to do transportation, but honestly, we'll take whatever.

Um, usually I think we've had like three people, so we've kind of done it like two each-ish, but it sounds there's only two of us, and I know um Greg Zainub, uh Samir have suggests that they want to do some one.
