How do we give us a h do we give us a hug Recording in progress. Welcome to the meeting of the Pacific Grove City Council. This is the special meeting. Wednesday, February 18th, 2026. It's a five oh one p.m. We're here in Council Chambers, City Hall, Pacific Grove, California, Three Hundred Fourth Avenue. I'm calling the meeting to order. We'll recognize that Councilmember Perderi is appearing remotely tonight via Zoom from Chicago, Illinois. And we have one other council member appearing via Zoom. Um not listed on the agenda, so I'll at this time I'll ask a council member Rao to make her record. Thank you, Your Honor. Uh, I have participated tonight under the just cause provision of the Brown Act. Uh there is no one in the room with me, eighteen years of age or otherwise. Uh thank you. And Mr. City Attorney is that um sufficient. That is. Okay, great. Thank you very much, Councilmember Rao. So we actually do have the full contingent of of the council tonight. Um, and at this time, I'll ask for an approval of the special meeting agenda. I'll move to approve the special meeting agenda. Second. Okay, we have a motion by Emilia, second by Garfield. Any further discussion on this agenda? Hearing none, we'll take a um I'll take a roll call vote because of the zoom. Thank you. Thank you, Mayor. Uh Mayor Patem Amelia. Aye. Council members Markensick. I. Rao. Aye. Hi. Motion carries seven zero. Very well. So at this time, I'll go ahead and we'll proceed with the special agenda. We'll take any public comment on the two items listed on the special agenda tonight, A and B. So at this time, if there's anyone wishing to make a public comment on those items, now is the time to do so. And there's for the record, there's no one in chambers in person. And for the record, I do not see anybody online as well, Mayor. Okay, no online attendees uh from the public. So we'll go ahead and close public comment on the social special session items.
