Today the government operation fiscal policy committee will consider legislation before us. We will proceed in accordance with the agenda beginning with CB 49 2026. And that concerning supplementary appropriations for the purpose of declaring additional revenue and appropriating to the general fund to provide for costs that were not anticipated and included in the FY26 budget. I'll turn to Ms. Eubanks for an overview. Good afternoon. Thank you. CB 49 2026 was presented by the council chair at the request of the county executive on May 2026, 2026, and referred to the committee of the whole. The legislation is a supplementary appropriation bill that provides an additional 4 million 53,700 and general fund spending authority for local development council community impact grants. The funding consists of 950,000 in miscellaneous receipts from return community impact grants and 3,103,700 from the assigned fund balance of the local development council community impact grant fund. The legislation increases the non-departmental budget to align with a spending council resolution that will distribute additional grant funding to eligible recipients. Roger Bannagus, legislative budget and policy analyst will present a brief overview of the policy analysis and physical impact statement for CB 49 2026. Um Act concerning supplementary appropriations for the purpose of declaring additional revenue and appropriating to the general fund to provide for costs that were not anticipated and included an approved fiscal year 2026 budget. CB 49 2026 provides an additional approximately $4 million in funding for fiscal year 2026. The funding comes from available county funds, including return community impact grant funds and existing fund balances. The fiscal analysis found that the bill is not expected to have a negative financial impact on the county because it mainly uses funds that are already available.
