- Local Impact Grant Funds Multi-Year Plan: Nathaniel K. Tutt, III, Director of the Government Operations and Fiscal Policy (GOFP) Committee, presented the FY 2027–2029 plan. Pursuant to CB-88-2015, the County Executive transmitted the plan for Council review and approval by resolution. The plan allocates $12,174,300 total: $10,929,300 for education, employment, workforce development, apprenticeship training, and tuition assistance, and $125,000 for County Council administration to support nonprofit oversight, auditing, and accountability for LIG-funded programs. All activities must occur within six miles of the gaming facility. A representative from the Office of Management and Budget was available for questions.

Okay. Thank you. We have a briefing on local impact grant funds multi-year plan. Mr. Tudd. Thank you, Mr. Vice Chair. We are here to review the and discuss the FY 2027 through 2029 local impact grant multi-year plan. Pursuant to CB 88 2015 after the local development council committees review comments and recommendation on the multi-year plan. The county executive shall transmit the plan to the county council for review and approval by resolution. The spending plan is listed in attachment A and local impact grants used for improvements in communities in the immediate proximity of the video lottery facility are noted within. And those activities must occur within six miles of the gaming facility. The FY27 through 29 plan allocates 12,174,300 to programs and initiatives that include 10 million nine hundred twenty-nine thousand three hundred for education, employment, workforce development, apprenticeship training, and tuition assistance. And finally 125,000 for county council administration to support nonprofit oversight, auditing, and accountability for local impact grant funded programs.
