- New Grading Permits:
- 245 Bryn Mawr Ave (4-unit townhome): Approved. Two trees removed; 9 shade trees, 17 evergreens, and 43 shrubs to be planted. Applicant Linda Lair (Inland Design) confirmed no changes from prior plan. A stormwater rain garden includes a dogwood outside the wet zone.
- 322 Edgehill Road (pool & pool house): Approved. No trees removed; excavated soil to remain on site.
- 390 Morris Road (new dwelling): Tabled initially due to absence; applicant Fran Patrini arrived later. Approved with conditions: provide tree protection for arborvitae along property line and estimate excavation volume (basement 30x50x9 feet). Applicant agreed to update plans.
- 547 Brandymede (pool): Approved with condition to amend application to state excavated soil (350 CY) will be removed off-site to protect rear trees. Previous approvals from October 2023 noted.
- 610 King of Prussia (Villanova Cabrini Campus sidewalks): Approved. Removal of one 34-inch oak; six replacement trees (2 honey locusts, 2 magnolia, 1 tupelo, 1 oak). Soil mostly exported.

- Tree Removal Clearing Permit: 217 Windermere Avenue – tabled; applicant not present despite supplying incomplete information.
- Old Business:
- STC Year End Report: Discussed presenting to the Board of Commissioners. Agreed to request agenda time via Commissioner Coates. Ricky will coordinate a date, potentially in April.
- Assigning Responsibility to Commission Goals: Reviewed a chart assigning members to 2026 goals including spring planting, riparian repair, and fundraising. Members volunteered for tasks. Frank presented Seth's former responsibilities (e.g., contractor coordination, resident registration, staking) and members stepped up.
- Spring Planting: Order confirmed for 80 trees (30 for residents, 54 for reforestation, extras). Pickup April 16, sorting April 17, planting event April 19. Frank to lead administration, Kristen and Tim to manage registration. Ricky offered to plant 10 right-of-way trees. Staking discussed; stakes to be procured.
- Fundraising Campaign: Eugenia reported $3,000 from four donors (20 trees). Goal to raise 100 trees for riparian project in November. Plan to approach corporations and later residents.

- Wayne Master Plan: Tim will attend March meeting; commission to propose tree boxes, green spaces, rooftop gardens, and stormwater management features. Members to send ideas to Tim.
- Hazardous Trees: Reported removal of two maples (30" and 22") at Willowburn/Sproul and one 33" pin oak at 799 Robinhood, all diseased or hollow. Suggested those locations for future tree replacement.

In February Shade Tree meeting. If everybody could stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. Pledge of the US. All right, thank you. Um first up is the meeting minutes. Any note questions on the it says um on there? I don't know if it matters, but maze and no's and gays uh zero zero. But then it does say who says I don't know if it matters for record, but I'll look at it. Um anyway, I didn't see anything else every time we're all right. So um make a motion to approve the meeting limits. All in favor? All right, thank you. Um sent agenda is the 2020 road and uh Kristen, you guys looked over this? Yeah, uh I did a site visit, uh shade free protection is perfect. They're taking out a 12-inch cherry because that's in the way of the addition that they're putting on, and they have a huge driveway where they're gonna fight everything, so there's no and it the tree it's heavily treated in the back, so the most of the trees aren't even closed, so it's it looks fine. All right, um you can motion to approve the consent agenda for a second all right uh for the new grading permits. First up we have uh 245 Brimmore Avenue. Is somebody here for that? Hi, welcome. Sure. I know you were here before October 2024. 24, yes. Uh I'm Linda Lair with Inland Design, uh professional engineer there. Um this is the the four unit. You want me to spread out the plan for you? Sure. Do you want to see the plan again? Okay. Has anything changed, or is it just because you're here for the grading permit? Nothing's changed. So you're going through the whole process now, and grading permit was submitted. So it's all the same. Yeah, and James, just for background on this. So the planning commission uh dis wanted to disallow this plan, so the applicant went to the board of commissioners, and the board of commissioners approved it. So this was after we, I think, approved approved it. I I believe we did. The sheet, yeah. Yes. So it's it's basically the same uh plan as we proposed in 2024. With um there's gonna be two trees removed, and right now there's a total of six trees on the site, and when we're all said and done, we'll have uh nine shade trees, seventeen evergreen trees, and forty-three shrubs. Oh, there was um I did go through this as well. Um the basin, you have a the tree list up there, and you do have I guess it's a um stormwater basin. Little stormwater rain garden in the back. Okay, yes. I was just wondering, there is a uh dogwood in there, and I'm not sure is it gonna be planted in the basin? No, we will be outside of the outside out of the wet zone. Gotcha. Perfect. I didn't want to get too wet. Um and then just to go through your tearing it down and then you're coming in through the same driveway, is it?
