First thing is uh recognizing the finance department for receiving the 14th consecutive certificate of achievement for excellence in financial reporting from the government finance officer association for the 2024 comprehensive annual financial report and audit.

Thank you for giving us a couple minutes to uh recognize uh I know the finance department's name is on the certificate and and they deserve uh a ton of credit or the most credit uh because it's something that they live and breathe every single day in uh how we operate.

Um but the award itself is really a collaborative effort amongst all of our departments uh and it involves uh a daily focus on uh every single financial type of transaction that we have uh and it's something that folks have bought into and take very seriously.

Um and so it's it's something that we are obviously very, very proud of.

Uh the GFOA, which is the government finance officers of America, will tell us that this is the highest level of uh financial recognition a municipality in the United States can get.

Um so it is something that we um we do uh take very seriously and we're very proud of.

Uh I'd like to specifically recognize uh Mr.

Tate, our finance director, and Mrs.

Lacey, our assistant finance director, for their leadership uh in the daily oversight of what goes on in the finance department as well as the um the effort with all the departments and the leading the independent audit team that comes in uh and who is ultimately responsible for taking the look at everything and telling us what we're doing right and what we can do better.

So I'd like to congratulate Bob and his team and the rest of the departments too, uh, as well as the commissioners for your continued leadership and support in making sure that we take our financial reporting uh as one of the most serious things we do every single day.

Uh I'd like to give notice of executive session where we discussed real estate matters, just happened prior to this meeting.

Uh recognition, Radner Township, a 2025 Tree City USA.

Yes, thank you.

Uh not to be outdone uh on the financial side.

Um obviously if if you pay attention to these meetings or you're participating in them, uh you know just how serious Radner is about the the maintenance and care and our approach in terms of tree management.

Uh this uh I don't know how many years Radner has been a Tree City USA.

I think it's been a very, very, very long time.

Um they're boasting their 50th year.

Um but uh this too, much like the financial piece is a collaboration amongst a lot of different groups, uh led of course by the commissioners and the ordinances uh and the laws that that you adopt that put such a an emphasis and priority on tree management uh down to the shade tree commission and the volunteers that we have that sit on that board that look at all of the land development plans uh and play a very important role uh in making sure that the the laws are followed uh from a land development standpoint, but then also take a leadership role in making sure that trees are being replanted uh as required not only by the ordinance but just out of uh uh the commitment to replant trees on a regular basis throughout Radner Township.

So combination of the commissioners, the shade tree commission, as well as uh Ms.

Cohen and her department and the parks of recreation and and Ricky Foster and the public works department.

Uh it is a collaborative effort, and I will say uh you know even as recently as this weekend when you get the aerial shots of the PGA championship, uh coupled with the increased uh number of drones and and you get a lot more bird's eye view of what this community looks like uh in ways that we really haven't seen outside of very special circumstances when you used to hire a helicopter or plane.

Now it's all the time.

And Radner really is a beautiful tree city.

It is, especially when they're in bloom right now, it's hard to uh look anywhere in in town and not see the massive amount of trees that we have.

And it's a it's a this is a recognition of that effort.

Um so Radner Township 2025 Tree City USA.

Okay, on to the business agenda 3A, resolution 2026-53, authorization Radner Township to enter into a purchase agreement with Confirm OK LLC to provide software and technical support services to enhance community safety and support vulnerable populations through automatic daily check-ins.

The proposed confirm okay LLC agreement is a one-year term with a monthly subscription fee.

Any amount of $650 a month, half of which $325 will be paid by the Wayne Senior Center, Confirm OK LLC will provide the township with access to and use Confirm OK.

A software as is a service that performs daily check-ins, services include technical support, software updates, and maintenance.
