Mayor Morgan here. Mayor Pro Tim Stevens here. Councilmember Lee? Yeah. Councilmember Flores? Here. Councilmember Fleming? Here. Councilmember Otega? Here. Councilmember Montgomery. Here. All right. So communication. Anybody with switch to speak? Seeing nine. Staff Bravens D1. Consider staff briefings and council member discussion andor questions regarding items on the agenda for the May 8 2025 City Council meeting. We have several proclamations. Councilmember McGombray, do you want to do the air quality awareness week? One okay. Consent. Anybody have any questions on consent? G1 consider resolution authorized mayor to execute supplement agreement number two with architectural services, bring uh Brinkley Wiggins and architects. Chad. Good morning, everyone. Good morning. So as we as we start going through public safety training, we realized that there was a uh a need slash a want/slash better safety features we could bring to our public safety training center. Um with that, we decided we we as in the chiefs and your city manager would try to figure out how do we design this so it's the lifetime. How is it the work we got we could potentially go out there do everything all at once, and this will be for uh a lifetime public safety training center. And so what that meant is there's some additional scope that we're designing in there through programming. And so that will come to you. This will be just for the design fees. So this is a going to be a contract to um give Brinkley Sergeant some more money for the additional design fees, and then there'll be additional costs for the construction that will be coming to you later on, whether you for you to approve or not to approve, and you'll have the ability to approve or not to approve. I'm gonna kind of walk through it. Um I do have Chief Carmichael in the back for some specific questions. I can answer probably most of them, but just just in case. And so when we get into it, we can see the first the first one right there, main building. We had a little bit of design fee extras in this right here, a little bit of IT. Those were mostly generated because of the bathrooms. Um we didn't anticipate add having to add some additional bathrooms, but we are. We have some what we thought was going to be a basic classroom. There's a little bit of design fees on there. These aren't these aren't really too bad. Um we get into the evoc, and that's what I want to talk about. The Evoch a little bit. Um, the Evoch really jumped. We originally had a track, um, and it was just an oval track. And as we were going through the design of this, we met with some professionals and decided that well, let's is this really what what we want is just asphalt on the ground. And so, what we determined is we really want to put a high speed track out there, and we want to we have a need for a high speed track, but we also have a need for interior roads, rural roads in the center of it as well, and that's what you're seeing here.
