The San Antonio Planning Commission held its regularly scheduled meeting on July 23, 2025. The commission considered a consent agenda of multiple items and one individual item, Item 10, a request to amend the Eastside Community Area Plan. Public testimony was heard on a consent agenda item. The commission approved the consent agenda unanimously and later voted unanimously to approve the applicant's request for the plan amendment.
The consent agenda included items 3, 9 (withdrawn) and items 5, and others. Item 5 received public comment. The commission approved the entire consent agenda on a motion by Commissioner Mylam, seconded by Commissioner Sanchez, with all commissioners voting in favor.

All items will be uh considered uh as in one motion and discussion, one action will be taken by the commissioners, and then anything else will be on the individual consideration agenda. So for today, items three and nine have been withdrawn, and item number ten will be heard individually. Correct. That's correct. All right. Um we do have somebody here to speak on item number five. And uh this property is uh just adjacent to the property that that's in question uh for today. And uh there's a uh I don't know how much you know about it, but we can see from her backyard. There was no nothing there when we moved in. It was just on uh there was no uh nothing there but uh weeds and stuff like this, and we could see all the way up to the city, and she really liked the fact we can just see the city and all this stuff, and and since then they've put in a drainage ditch, and they're they're they're doing a lot of stuff up to it right now, but uh I prefer they didn't, but uh that's my opinion.
