Good morning, buenos.

Today we pray not only for the work of the city council, but today is Boss's Day.

So we celebrate all those who lead us in work.

Let us put ourselves recognize the presence of God within us and among us.

God of all creation, we gather together today, aware that you are the source of all, and all finds its completion in you.

You call us into being by your everlasting love, and invite us to share in your work of creation and life.

In you we live.

In you we move, and in you we have our being.

Today and throughout their tenure, we ask your blessing on the leadership of the city of San Antonio.

Elected by our citizens, they seek to improve the life of all by their work, by their decisions.

We pray that you give them wisdom and knowledge to make well-founded decisions.

Help them to seek out and hear the voices of all our brothers and sisters.

Let them be attentive most of all to those who have no voice.

The poor, the outcasts, those seemingly unwelcome and unloved.

Recognizing that we are all your sons and daughters and therefore sisters and brothers to each other.
