This meeting of the Sand City City Council began with a closed session at 3:39 PM, followed by the regular meeting at 5:45 PM. The council received presentations, heard public comments, and approved several items, including the annual military equipment report and a contract for the 2026 West End Festival.

Carrie, let's go ahead and uh uh begin uh their meeting, and I will like to introduce uh welcome everyone to the city council special meeting of October 21st. Uh the time is three 39 and uh if we could call roll call please Mayor Carbone here, Vice Mayor Blackwell here, Councilmember Adams present council member the end here council member so communications uh this time members of the public may address the city council on items not on the agenda at this time for up to three minutes, and in order that the city clerk may identify a speaker in the minutes, uh it would be helpful if the speakers could state their names. No one in the room and no one via Zoom will close uh the communications and we'll uh move on to item three close session. And uh we have um a few items here, and I did have uh we do have with us uh um someone who be at Zoom who uh is here for conference with legal counsel anticipated litigation uh exposure to litigation uh number cases, but there's quite a few cases, they're not all for him, but uh we're hearing three different items with a possible of seven cases. Uh so with that uh I'd like to introduce um go I would like to uh put item three B first because um the person who's here via Zoom has to leave uh for another meeting. So uh so my request is that we could have three B first and then move three B down to the next item and then so and so as on the agenda if that's okay. Yes, okay. Okay, um so with that I don't know how to introduce us here. Oh, we should session. Yeah, so actually, yeah, so at this time uh let me open it up to uh the public on items on closed session. If anyone is here, which I don't there's no one in the room, uh but uh to be to state public comment is open on any items comments in closed session, either values and no one be in Zoom and no one in the room, so we'll go ahead and close public comment to those items, and uh we will excuse the public, so we'll go into closed session, and we're going to take conference legal council and um at this time. Um I don't know how to do this. So I'm introducing um close the door. You know, uh this is um uh I've asked Steve if he could uh come here uh to have you should wait until the name this would be fast. Do you get to stay in there or do you get it grab that tomorrow? Sacramento tonight. Three and a half hours. I know on Sunday we just say how to drag down the bankers field and back. It was such a three. How long does that take? Three hours. Uh it's more, it's probably like four hours in the way. Yeah, oh Sunday. Three minutes. I don't think there wasn't any traffic grass. Um once uh um disregards. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
