- Item 24 (Hiring Process Update): Assistant Personnel Director David Dallager presented a pilot program to reduce the classified hiring timeline from 270 days to target of less than half. Key changes include leveraging executive team meetings to expedite certification requests, eliminating unnecessary supplemental questions, and cleaning up old certifications in NeoGov. Also joining us today are personnel, David, personnel director, David Dallager, assistant personnel director and Laman Aban, senior deputy city attorney David Carlin, an assistant to the personnel director, Saba O'Neal. For item two, I will call on Saba to report on the Commission's actions in closed session. I will now report the actions of the commission from closed session. Number one, public employment, appeal of employment disqualification pursuant to California government code section 54957B1. Jennifer L. Whitmer appealing their conviction record disqualification for the position of heavy truck driver two. Motion to grant the appeal passed four to zero with Commissioner Pham absent. We will now move on to non-agenda public comment. Is there anyone who wishes to make a public comment on an item not on the agenda? It is within the purview of the Civil Service Commission.
