Welcome to the January 20th, 2022 regular meeting of the Government Audit and Oversight Committee of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.

I am Supervisor Dean Preston, Chair of the Committee, joined by Vice Chair, Supervisor Connie Chan, and soon to be joined by uh Supervisor Raphael Mandelman.

Um, and the committee clerk is uh is John Carroll, and our thanks to Michael Balthasar and Corwin Cooley from SFGov TV for staffing this meeting.

Uh, we also have Supervisor U Hilary Ronan with us today, who will be joining us for item number one.

Agenda item number one is the hearing on the report of the implementation of mental health SF, including positions funded in fiscal years 2020-2021, as well as 2021 to 2022 budgets.

When the hiring process started for each position, when each position was actually filled, and how many positions continue to be vacant.

Members of the public who wish to provide public comment on this hearing should call the public comment call a number.

Uh colleagues, today we will be hearing about the status of hiring behavioral health physicians to fully implement mental health SF.

Over two years ago, we passed Mental Health SF to reform the city's disjointed mental health care system by providing universal low barrier access to mental health and substance use order treatment.
