Welcome to the December 14th, 2023 regular meeting of the Public Safety and Neighborhood Services Committee.

I'm Supervisor Catherine Stephanie, Chair of the Committee, and to my left is Supervisor Dorsey.

Yes, item number one is a hearing to consider that the person to person premise to premise transfer of a type 20 off-sale beer and wine liquor license to uh Source and Sinclair, LLC to do business as Willow on the Green, located at 1327 Bine Avenue in District 7, will serve the public convenience or necessity of the city and county.

We wanted to make sure that we were being mindful of how hard it is to open a business here in San Francisco or continue one.

And um wanted to make sure we got this done before the end of the year.

So we want to welcome Officer Salmus from the SFPD ABC Liaison unit.

Okay.

Uh Sora's in Sinclair's applied uh operating as Willow on the Green has applied for a type 20 license, and if approved, this would allow them to operate an off-sale beer and wine premise.

I have zero letters of protest, zero letters of support.

They're located in plot 909, which is considered high crime.

They're in census strike 30202, which is considered high saturation.

Terrible station has no opposition, and alcohol liaison unit recommends approval.

Uh thank you, Madam Chairman.

Uh I am the Sinclair of Suarez and Sinclair.

Um it's been a bit of a long journey.

Uh we broke ground uh during COVID about two years ago, and we've been in operations for a year and a half.

It is an aspect that we've always been looking forward to, and our customers have been quite keen on having uh uh that uh uh addition to our uh store.

We are the uh only British tea shop in the West Coast.

Um it is something that is being uh interesting journey to forge ground on, and this will enable us to uh bring low ABV ailes, which have been an interest of younger generations um to the neighborhood.
